Our Standard kitchen respray starts from £1,350 and our Premium service starts from £1,750. We provide a detailed, itemised quotation after a free home visit.

What is the difference between Standard and Premium?

Our Standard service includes full surface preparation, two topcoats, and a matt or satin finish. Our Premium service includes enhanced preparation with dent and chip repair, three topcoats for greater depth and durability, any finish including high-gloss, and the option to have new handles or knobs fitted. Both services come with a written guarantee.

No. Our quotations are fully detailed and transparent. The price we quote is the price you pay. We do not add surcharges for colour matching, travel within Greater Manchester, or waste disposal. How long does a kitchen respray take?

A typical kitchen respray takes 3–5 days depending on the size of the kitchen and the number of coats required. We work systematically through the kitchen, and you will still be able to use your appliances and sink during most of the process. We aim to minimise disruption as much as possible.

Do I need to empty my kitchen?

Accepted Answer

No. We ask that you clear worktops and remove items from open shelving, but cabinets can remain fully stocked. We mask all worktops, appliances, flooring, and walls before we begin spraying. Your kitchen remains usable throughout the process.

What preparation do you carry out?

Our preparation process involves cleaning and degreasing all surfaces with specialist solvent cleaners, abrading with fine-grade sanding pads or Scotch-Brite, filling chips and dents with two-part filler, masking all adjacent surfaces, and applying an adhesion-promoting primer. Preparation is the most important stage and typically accounts for 60% of the total project time.

Will there be a strong smell?

Modern furniture coatings are much lower in VOCs (volatile organic compounds) than traditional paints, so odour is minimal. We ventilate the workspace during and after application. Any residual smell typically dissipates within 24–48 hours. If you have particular sensitivities, please let us know and we can take additional precautions.

Can I choose any colour?

Yes. We offer the full RAL and BS colour ranges — thousands of standard colours. We can also colour-match to any physical sample including paint swatches, fabric cuttings, tiles, wallpaper, or photographs. If you can show us the colour, we can match it.

Do you remove the doors or spray them in place?

It depends on the project. For kitchens, we generally spray doors in situ (on the cabinet carcasses) after thorough masking. For freestanding furniture, pieces are often collected and sprayed in our workshop for an optimal result. We will discuss the best approach during your consultation.

How do I clean my resprayed surfaces?

After the first 30 days of curing, clean your resprayed surfaces with a soft cloth and warm soapy water. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, and harsh chemicals such as bleach or white spirit. For everyday cleaning, a damp microfibre cloth is ideal.

When can I use my kitchen normally after respraying?

Your kitchen can be used carefully immediately after we finish. However, the paint reaches full hardness after approximately 30 days. During this curing period, we recommend being gentle with doors and drawers — avoid slamming them or placing heavy objects against freshly sprayed surfaces.

No. Our coatings are formulated with UV stabilisers that prevent yellowing, even on white and light-coloured finishes. Unlike traditional oil-based paints which can yellow significantly over time, our modern coatings maintain their true colour for years.
