Terms of Service

1. Introduction
These terms of service ("Terms") govern the provision of respray and refinishing services by Revitalize Resprays Group Ltd ("we", "us", "our") to you ("the Customer"). By accepting a quotation from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Our registered address is Unit 1a, 88-90 Wilton Street, Denton, Manchester, M34 3NH.
2. Quotations
All quotations are provided free of charge and without obligation. A quotation is valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Quotations are based on the information and access provided at the time of the consultation. If additional work is required beyond the original scope (for example, due to hidden damage discovered during preparation), we will notify you and provide a revised quotation before proceeding. No additional charges will be applied without your prior written agreement.
3. Booking & Scheduling
To secure a booking, a deposit is required as specified in your quotation. The deposit is non-refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of the scheduled start date. We will confirm your start date in writing and endeavour to keep to the agreed schedule. However, start dates may occasionally need to be adjusted due to factors beyond our control, such as adverse weather conditions (for external UPVC work) or supplier delays. In such cases, we will notify you as soon as possible and agree a revised date.
4. Customer Responsibilities
The Customer agrees to:
- Provide clear and safe access to all areas and items to be resprayed.
- Remove personal items, ornaments, and valuables from the work area before our arrival.
- Ensure that adequate ventilation is available during the spraying process.
- Inform us of any known issues with the surfaces to be sprayed (e.g., water damage, mould, previous repairs).
- Make arrangements for children and pets to be kept away from the work area during the spraying process.
5. Payment Terms
The deposit amount is specified in your quotation and is payable upon acceptance to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the work, before we leave site, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing. We accept payment by bank transfer, cash, and major debit/credit cards. Late payments may be subject to statutory interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
6. Our Obligations
We agree to:
- Carry out all work with reasonable skill and care, using professional-grade materials and equipment.
- Protect the Customer's property, flooring, and furnishings from overspray and damage during the course of our work.
- Leave the work area clean and tidy upon completion.
- Provide aftercare guidance for maintaining the sprayed finish.
- Comply with all applicable health and safety regulations.
7. Warranty
All respray work is covered by a written warranty, the duration and terms of which are specified in your quotation. The warranty covers defects in workmanship, including peeling, flaking, or bubbling of the sprayed finish, where such defects arise under normal domestic use and proper aftercare.
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by impact, abrasion, or misuse (including the use of abrasive cleaners, solvents, or scouring pads).
- Normal wear and tear.
- Damage caused by excessive heat or steam (e.g., placing hot pans directly on sprayed surfaces).
- Changes to the substrate caused by environmental factors such as moisture ingress, swelling, or movement of the underlying material.
- Work carried out on surfaces that we advised were not suitable for respraying, where the Customer elected to proceed.
8. Limitation of Liability
Our total liability under or in connection with these Terms, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Customer for the services. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
9. Cancellation
You may cancel your booking at any time before work commences. If you cancel more than 48 hours before the scheduled start date, your deposit will be refunded in full. If you cancel within 48 hours of the scheduled start date, the deposit will be retained to cover costs already incurred in preparing materials and scheduling labour. Once work has commenced, cancellation charges will be calculated based on the proportion of work completed plus the cost of materials used.
10. Intellectual Property
We may take photographs of completed work for use in our portfolio, website, and social media channels. No personally identifiable information will be included without your consent. If you do not wish us to photograph the completed work, please inform us before the project begins.
11. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations under these Terms if such delay or failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, severe weather, fire, flood, pandemic, governmental action, labour disputes, or failure of suppliers.
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
13. Amendments
We reserve the right to update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website. Changes will not affect quotations or bookings already accepted under previous versions of these Terms.
