Revitalize Resprays

We offer the closest thing to brand new without replacing, for a fraction of the cost. That’s what we do at Revitalize Resprays — and it’s why most of our customers come to us after seeing a £15,000+ quote for a new kitchen.
Probably the most common question I get on the phone is “how much roughly?” And my honest answer is always the same — prices vary, and “how much” is a bit of a vague question without context. How much for what, exactly?
The first thing I want to know is what you’re actually looking for. Are you just moving into the property and want it freshened up? Are you looking to rent it out? Are you sick of looking at the same tired kitchen every morning? That context completely changes the conversation, because what you need from a kitchen respray determines which service makes sense and what it’s going to cost.
So let me break it down properly — real numbers, no hiding behind “get a quote.”
Standard Respray: £999 – £1,500
This is our in-situ service. We come to your home, mask everything up, and spray your kitchen in one day. Doors stay on the cabinets, we work around you. By the end of the day you’ve got a completely transformed kitchen.
This works brilliantly for kitchens in decent condition where the doors just need a colour change — no peeling, no chips, no major damage. Most standard kitchens with 10–15 doors land around the £1,100–£1,350 mark.
Premium Respray: £1,650 – £3,500
This is the one I’m most proud of. We remove every single door, take them back to our workshop in Denton, and completely refinish them. Several coats of primer, several coats of topcoat — the finish you get is factory-level. It’s the closest thing to brand new without replacing, at a fraction of the cost.
This is the service you want if your doors have any damage, if the existing finish is peeling or chipping, or if you’ve got vinyl wrapped doors that are lifting at the edges. The price depends on the size of the kitchen and the condition of the doors. A typical 12–15 door kitchen in fair condition usually comes in around £2,000–£2,500.

I had a client called Robbie in Rainhill, St Helens. He’d been quoted £17,500 plus VAT for a full kitchen replacement. We quoted him £2,500 for a Premium respray. He went with us, then used the money he saved to get himself new worktops, new flooring, new appliances, and a new cladded ceiling with fitted spotlights — all for about £5,000. That’s genuinely a £15,000 saving sitting directly in his pocket compared to ripping the whole kitchen out.

And here’s the bit that matters — we’ve had six referrals off the back of Robbie’s job over four years, totalling £13,000 in revenue for us and easily £50,000 in savings for those clients combined. One happy customer in St Helens turned into a pipeline of work across the area, because when people walk into Robbie’s kitchen they can’t believe it wasn’t brand new.
What Affects the Price?
The main factors are the number of doors and drawers (a 20-door kitchen costs more than an 8-door galley kitchen), the condition of the existing finish (chips and peeling need more prep work), whether you’re doing a major colour change (going from dark oak to light grey costs a bit more than a like-for-like refresh), and the material.
If your doors are vinyl wrapped and peeling, that’s a Premium job — most sprayers won’t touch vinyl kitchens because it’s not worth the hassle to them. We see ourselves as the go-to option when homeowners are considering replacing the kitchen entirely and a respray is the last option before being forced to buy new.
What About Cheaper Quotes?
You’ll find sprayers quoting £500–£700 for a kitchen respray. I’d be careful there. At that price point, the prep work isn’t being done properly, the paint quality is lower, and the finish won’t last. We’ve resprayed kitchens where a cheaper company had already had a go — the customer ended up paying twice.
Our work comes with 25 years of wood finishing experience and over 100 five-star Google reviews. We’ve been featured in The Times. The finish lasts.
FAQ
How long does a kitchen respray take?
Standard is completed in one day. Premium takes 3–5 working days because we take the doors away to our workshop for the full refinishing process.
Is it worth respraying kitchen cabinets?
If your cabinets are structurally sound — yes, absolutely. You’re looking at saving 60–80% compared to a full replacement. Robbie’s job proved that — £2,500 vs £17,500.
Can you respray vinyl wrapped doors?
Yes — but it needs the Premium service. We strip the vinyl completely and refinish from scratch. Most sprayers won’t do this. If your vinyl is peeling at the edges, that’s exactly the type of kitchen we specialise in.
Do you cover all of Manchester?
We’re based in Denton and cover all of Greater Manchester — Stockport, Oldham, Tameside, Salford, Trafford, Bolton, Bury, Rochdale, Wigan, and surrounding areas. We’ve also done jobs further afield in St Helens, Warrington, and Cheshire.
How do I get a quote?
Give us a call on 07384 574225 or take our 30-second quiz to get an instant price range. Send us a few photos of your kitchen and we’ll give you an accurate quote the same day.
